A Wellness Retreat Queensland Come for Quiet, Reflection, and Renewal at the Abbey

Day and weekend retreats, individual stays, and group venue bookings in a quiet corner of the Moreton Bay region

In our ever-changing world there is a great need for each of us to take time to step aside, be still, be silent and to seek to know ourselves more deeply. At the Abbey Community we have created a place that gives people permission to stop: to breathe deeply, think clearly, reconnect with themselves, and experience genuine inner exploration and restoration. Set in the beautiful Abbey grounds with its gardens, areas of natural bush, and dairy farm, we offer an opportunity to retreat from the world and rediscover your authentic self.

A Place Apart

The Abbey Retreat Centre, Caboolture

The Abbey Retreat Centre, is a wellness retreat in Queensland that guests are increasingly discovering. It offers nine individual bedrooms for participants and a small self-contained unit for the facilitator.
The dining room, called the Refectory, is supported by a full kitchen. There are toilet and shower facilities, a large lounge and a chapel.

For outdoor time, there is a verandah dining and discussion space and a new raised deck in the central courtyard, suited to small group activities and breakout conversations.

The property includes areas of natural bush and dams. It is a working dairy farm, so some animal sounds at milking times are part of the experience. The gardens are dotted with quiet seating where guests can find solitude among the bird life of the Abbey Precinct.

The grounds also include St Michael’s College (Prep to Year 6), the Abbey Church and the Abbey Museum which welcomes school groups and the general public. The Museum cafe is open daily from 10.00am to 2.00pm for simple catering.
